I am an avid thriller reader, so I am always down for a crazy plot twist, unreliable narrators, or clever plot lines--and The Silent Patient did not disappoint. Following a psychotherapist and his patient, who was convicted of murdering her husband and then becoming mute, as they work through her therapy and his obsession with her.

The only thing I didn't appreciate about this novel is the way the plot twist hits. It seemed to easy, almost? Once they explained everything, it made a bit more sense--but also felt like it could be the easy way out? But I feel I'm in the minority in that opinion.

Overall, it doesn't make the list of my all-time favorite thrillers, but it was definitely a good and quick read that I would recommend to others that love the genre.
