This book pulled me out of a reading rut!!! The Silent Patient is my new go to recommendation for anyone looking for a suspenseful thriller. Alicia has everything, except one evening her husband arrives home and she shoots him five times and then she stops speaking. Enter Theo, a criminal psychotherapist who is determined to get to the bottom of this... why did she shoot her husband? Why is she not speaking? This book is written beautifully with touches on art, which I really enjoyed due to Alicia being an artist as well as her husband being an high in demand fashion photographer. This book had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole thing. I was pleasantly in shock at the ending and never saw it coming.
