Alex Michaelides is the best thriller author I have ever read. And I say this only reading this book by him. Short chapters, which I love, and a bonus every chapter ended in a cliff-hanger. It was such an addictive and easy read.
You follow this psychotherapist who is working at this hospital that Alicia Berenson lives in. Alicia has been there for ten years, since she was convicted of killing her husband. She hasn't spoken a word.
From there you have chapters going back to when Alicia killed her husband and what led to it to today. The differing character perspectives were perfect! I did not see any of it happening! This is a MUST READ!
