I love Alex Michaelides writing style. It is very unique and it pulls you in from page one and by the time you come back to reality you realize you’re already halfway through the book. Sometimes more. It’s brilliant. This is the only book in a very long time (including The Maidens) that kept me in the dark until it basically spoon fed me the answer. Well done! I will buy every book Michaelides writes. Whenever a friend is looking for a good psychological thriller I always ask if they’ve read the Silent Patient yet!
The characters were wonderful. There were many that you were suspicious of and the ones you wanted to reach out and hug and tell them everything would be okay.
I was kicking myself for not predicting the ending. But I loved that! I know it’s a great thriller if I cannot see the ending before hand.
