This was such a good physiological thriller! And with the short chapters it felt like a fast read. There were so many things I feel like I should have picked up throughout the book but didn’t realize how it was connected until the twist at the end. The plot was written very well, and I enjoyed the writing style as I never wanted to put the book down. I liked how the story was told through Theo’s POV but with some of Alicia’s diary entries. It made it feel like she had a voice even though she was not speaking.
At times I felt bad for Theo, but I did not like the way he handled the secret he discovered about his wife, but I understood at the end why he acted that way. I do feel like the ending was a tad rushed and would have liked some things wrapped up a little better.
There is so much more I want to say about this book but its hard without giving anything away. What I can say is if you do not already have this on your TBR you should add it.
