This book was amazing! I was so intrigued by the characters and why he was so drawn to the patient. I thought it was a complex to be the best but when that twist came in! Wow! I did not see that coming! I loved how everything tied together and I was just shocked. We follow dr Theo Faber who is a criminal therapist to his new job at the mental institute where alicia is held, and she is convicted of killing her beloved husband. But no one knows why. And they won’t find out because she hasn’t spoken since the killing. Dr faber is convinced he can get her to talk. But why is he so obsessed and so convinced he can complete the task? You also follow him as he goes through marital issues. I had so many theories. None of which was what it came to be! I loved that I didn’t guess it
