I literally couldn't put this down! I was hooked from the beginning with the descriptive prose and short chapters. This book was fast paced while giving the reader ample time to get to know characters. The story follows Theo, who is working at a mental health center in hopes to help Alicia, the "silent patient" who hasn't spoken in years after experiencing some trauma. The relationship between the two is fascinating and the dual perspectives mesh perfectly without any confusion. I am never one to figure out the twists, but this one was especially good and I was genuinely shocked at the reveal. This is a great story for those whole love thrillers and I feel like this would make a great movie!
