Thrillers are a hit or miss with me and I tend to be able to predict them but in this case it surprised me! The story starts with Alicia's perfect life being a famous artist married to a famous in demand fashion photographer. Then one day her husband comes home and she shoots him 5 times in the face and never speaks a word. Now we wonder why this happened and there comes the mystery. Of course she is in a mental institution and Theo Faber a criminal physiotherapist is determined to find out what happened. He goes throughout the book contacting people who knew her and seeing her famous painting that is hidden for clues. It's not until she hands him her diary it's all revealed. This book kept me interested and was very fast paced for me. I highly recommend it if you love thrillers.
