This book is about a patient who killed her husband and hasn't spoken a word since. Throughout the entirety of the book, I constantly was questioning why she was silent: did she have a mental break? Is she hiding something? Is she the killer? What really happened here?
The author did an awesome job at writing the answers for us right in the text, but not exposing the true ending until the end, which then I had an "oh crap!!" moment when everything fit together perfectly in my book puzzle.
The writing style was captivating, easy to follow, and one where even when it was time to pee, you took the book with you instead of putting it down! I read this for a book club, and we all decided to met the next day, rather than the next week like we typically do.
This was a great psychological thriller that I can't say enough about!
