For me, this was one of those books that was fine but also I don’t think I would have felt bad leaving it in my to be read pile either. I liked the story overall but didn’t loveeee it. Things were a bit slow to get info and I had a very hard time connecting to any of the characters. I thought the overall plot was good and it did have the components of a true psychological thriller (I never felt scared but I had thoughts of what the heck... wait how did we get here?!) However, the twist at the end wasn’t what I had expected at all so I definitely have to add an extra star for that alone. This seems to be one of those books that people either love or just “eh” about. Sadly I’m on the “eh” side.
