As much as this book was hyped up and as many book recs as I received for it, I have to say that I was a little disappointed.
If you love thrillers and quick reads, then this one is for you. The language and structure is simple enough that you can easily finish within a day.
The story line was definitely intriguing and keeps you guessing nearly until the end. If you're more of the thriller fan, then you may pick up on the catch earlier than most.
So where was I disappointed?
I feel like I've heard this story somewhere before - either a twist from another book or movie plot - but I'm frustrated that I can't remember exactly where. Taking that element out, I would have easily rated as 5 stars but held to 4.
