When I first read the sypnopsis for this book, I got definite Gone Girl vibes, which was delightful because I actually liked Gone Girl. So a great draw into the book.

I think the book was well written. The characters were nicely developed. I'm not sure I actually connected to either of them. They never seemed fully real. The plot was suspenseful and full of twists and turns.

I loved the incorporation of psychology (which duh, has to be included because Theo is a criminal psychotherapist) but also art because of Alicia.

I know some people said that the end was completely unsurprising (actually one of my favorite reviewers said that the whole book lead up to the end) which was sad. But although I perhaps had an inkling, I definitely was not certain that that would happen. It WAS surprising for me. I liked it.
