I like it alot
This book was such a good read and it grabbed my attention right from the beginning. It follows a doctor trying to get one of his patient to open up about the night her husband was murdered as no one else was able to break her previously. Even after the number of attacks, the doctor still sticks around to bringing back her memory and get her to talk.
The author paints a vision of the character and leads you to think one way. You think you know what is going on but at the end, you jaw drops because it was such a surprise.
His style of writing was easy to follow and kept you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
This was the very first novel that I have read of his ( I believe this was his debut novel) but he did such an amazing job with this one that I already have his other novel, The Maidens, lined up to be read in the next couple of weeks. He definitely did not disappoint
