"The Silent Patient” is a great thriller, a true “I didn’t see that coming” type of thriller, that will leave you like “Whoa!” "What" "How?" all the time. The story is about Alicia, a psychiatric patient accused of killing her husband. And yes, she doesn’t talk - therefore, she’s the silent patient. Theo, a psychotherapist, is assigned to treat her, and he does everything to try to get her to talk about what happened. Told in small chapters (like 3-5 pages each), this thriller will make you want to go right to the next chapter, devouring one after another (so the size of the chapters really don't matter). And yep, “I didn’t see that coming” is a great way to describe what happens in this book. I really didn't see that coming...
