The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is a psychological thriller and was my choice for my book of the month box. Since thrillers particularly psychological ones are my favorite thing to read it's very hard for a book in this genre to rise to the top. And yet, the Silent Patient did just that. The first book in a long time to genuinely surprise me with it's twists and also satisfy me with the ending.
