This one kept me guessing, and had a lot of unique elements that I haven't seen in other thrillers (and, admittedly, a few that I have).
Just the fact that we start with this seemingly glamorous couple intrigued me--a famous painter and a fashion photographer. Add to that the method in which the crime occurred and the fact that Alicia refuses to speak (for several years) made it even more enticing! Then we bring in a psychotherapist (actually the narrator for the story) trying to determine her motive and coax her to speak.
I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just stop there. The book was well-written and engaging and I think it will be quite the hit for 2019 thrillers and mysteries.
