Everyone kept telling me to read this book, and thrillers aren't really my cup of tea but this is one of those books that you can't put down once you pick it up. I would call in sick to work just to stay home to read this book. No, I would call in sick just to stay home and read anyway, but this book would be at the top of my to-be-read pile. The Silent Patient becomes a paranoid nightmare of a novel with an ending that is destined to go down as one of the most shocking, mind-blowing twists in recent memory. Or maybe it's just not for you, and you can't relate to the characters. You never know until you read the book yourself, so go buy the book and take a chance on an exciting read that puts you on edge.
