4 stars for the first gripping thriller. Fom the beginning of the story, I was immediately hooked. The author has a great writing style that makes you want to keep reading. I was invested in the characters. I thought the plot was really interesting. About two-thirds through, I guessed the twist. I don't typically read thrillers so I don't know what that says that a noob can guess the plot twist. But I still overall like the book and I would recommend it to someone who doesn't read thrillers.
I also love the cover. It was what grabbed my attention in the first place. I'm also I sucker for light covers. Also I kept hearing about it all over the internet. The hype is pretty worth it for the novel. I'll definitely read more by the author.
