When I initially read the excerpt I was instantly hooked and couldn't wait to read this book. Then I got it and I don't know what happened, but I just could not stay interested. It took me a long time to get past the first 50 pages and that isn't like me at all. I think it was more how the story was told from an outsider's perspective that threw me off at first. Once I got more into the book I found the pacing to move faster and I was more and more intrigued with where the story was going. Some of it I saw coming, some was a surprise. It wound up being really good and I am glad I hung in there and gave it a proper chance! Would recommend to anyone who likes a good thriller that will keep you guessing!
