Admittedly I am not typically a fan of thriller novels; however this book had received such great reviews I knew I wanted to give it a shot. Boy, I was not disappointed! The story follows a young woman, Alicia, who supposedly kills her husband and then goes silent. She is tired and convicted to remain in a psychiatric facility due to mental illness. A psychologist, Theo, takes a new job at the facility and begins trying to create a therapeutic relationship with Alicia to help her open up and discuss what happened. Did she truly murder her own husband? Was she framed? That was Theo’s goal; figure out the true. The story ends with a twist and turn I did not see coming. Wow! Highly recommended! The author did such a beautiful job with this story and made me a fan of the thriller genre, which is definitely quite a feat. So, snag this book ... you won’t be disappointed!
