Theo Faber takes a job at the Grove for one purpose-- Alicia Berenson. Alicia was killed her husband of seven years. When found, she was covered in blood with the gun close by the shot her husband five times. Since she was found, Alicia has not spoken a single word. Theo swears he can help Alicia; maker her talk. Can he? Will she? And if she talks what will she say?

When I read the synopsis on Bookish First, I just automatically used points for the book. I always worry doing this because if I dislike the book, I could have used those points for another one. But this was a good choice because holy moly! From page 1 I was hooked.

What I loved:
The fast paced writing. There was total backstory for both of our main characters, but nothing that made the plot drag in any way. The whole thing was tied in neatly.
We get another perspective halfway through the book, but it was well done. I am not divulging more to stop from spoiling.
None of the narrators were unreliable. Thank you Jesus. I am about over that.
THAT ENDING. And yes that is all I will say.

What I did not like:
I did not like the main professor at the hospital Theo was working at. I thought that character had more potential, but used a little loosely. But nothing detrimental to the plot or worth caring about too much.

Overall, I definitely recommend this to those who like fast paced suspense.
