Creepy!
This was an incredibly unique story. I loved the Greek references, the pacing, and the characters. It was amazing that the author was able to develop a character who didn't even speak. The big twist was fairly obvious for those who read a lot of thrillers, but the great part was that the twist didn't even matter - not really - because the characters were that good.
The suspense is worth mentioning. Though the twist wasn't shocking, there were other plot points that were really hard to see coming.
I'm personally a big fan of the "slow burn." I didn't think this was super fast-paced, but for me, that was fine - it didn't need to be. If you like books that move quickly, this might not be for you.
