For a while this was *the* psychological thriller that everyone in the bookstagram world was talking about. And it deserved every single accolade! Just when you thought you had it figured out - Alex Michaelides switched it up on you with about 25,000 twists and turns, that resulted in my audibly gasping several times. Hang onto your hat, reader! This is going to be a wild ride! Alicia's character was so intriguing and the relationship with the psychotherapist was so nuanced and well-written. I've been recommending this to many friends, since it is such a classic psychological thriller. It is deliciously twisted, but the only negative thing I will say is that it could've used some more editing to keep the plot from meandering so much.
