As a lover of crime movies and tv shows, The Silent Patient is a great story of a young woman who murders her husband and never spoke again. Then a criminal psychotherapist wanted to interview her to further his career. The writing style was easy to follow and intriguing. Alex starts of with a diary entry from the woman's point of view and then jumps into the point of view of the psychotherapist. As the story unfolds, we get to the point of the events leading to her husband's death. I also liked the quotes at certain pages of the book that related to what was going on. I would recommend this to anyone who liked a story they can't put down. I felt like I was reading an episode of Criminal minds.
