Oh, I love an unreliable narrator. I am forever gullible and, no matter how many twisted thrillers I read, I will always perceive the protagonist's perspective as the whole, objective truth. Maybe it's just our human nature!

This book is well worth the four to six hours it will take you to entirely devour it. In it, a seemingly well-intentioned criminal psychotherapist takes it upon himself to cure a woman known as The Silent Patient, who has not uttered a word since killing her husband and almost herself, years ago. The reader gets pulled into the patient's chaotic delusions little by little until, at the end, an unexpected role reversal takes us all by surprise. I won't say much else, but you should read this book to find out!
