I had very high expectations for this book and fortunately I was not at all let down. This took the genre of psychological thriller to an entire new level. We meet Alicia who is an amazing artist who is married to Gabriel who is a famous photographer. One night she shoots him point blank in the head. She then refuses to speak. Why did she do it? What are her motives? We have no idea until much later in the book. A psychologist named Theo comes on board and he is absolutely determined to get Alicia to open up uk and talk to him especially regarding her crime and motivation. Why is it so important to Theo to find out the truth? At what cost will the truth being? This book will keep you in the dark until the last page. I highly recommend it.
