This is one of my new all time favorite stand alone books I've ever read! The twist in this story had my mind blown and I did not see it coming. The Authors writting style is just perfect. The thriller aspects 9f this was point on and had me at the end of my seat. (I know a cliche but so true) This book follows the point of view from Theo Faber. On his quest to figure out what caused the amazing Alicia Berensons to kill her husband and why she has not spoken sense. I really like the flash back chapters and true crime feeling this book gives This book has you guessing and even if you are one of the few to guess the reason why and twist that has us all talking then that's awesome. But this book it's still a easy 5 out 5 stars. Truly a great debut from this author and I cannot wait to read absolutely every single thing that he writes. If you haven't read this yet please do yourself a fever and pick this up!
