This book was exceptional. Beautifully written with reflective intellect, gripping suspense, and a shocking twist, this was, undoubtedly, the best psychological thriller I’ve read all year. It's rare that a thriller is so deeply satisfying and meets all the criteria I particularly enjoy in books. The Silent Patient was everything I needed it to be and more.
The author's writing style was definitely an alluring factor in this book. I loved the startlingly profound passages, which made this a very unique reading experience for a psychological thriller. I will gladly read anything that Alex Michaelides produces in the future. He knows how to get into your head, make you think, and then make you question everything you thought you knew!
