This book definitely did not live up to the hype. The writer had a slow, drug out way of writing that annoyed me. I kept expecting something to happen, being that a lot of people loved the book, so I kept reading. Nothing!! Nothing exciting... So I kept thinking that the ending may be shockingly good. Nope!!!! It was just as boring and dull up to the end. I feel like I wasted hours on this darn thing. 😔
I might give the author another chance in the future, as the storyline at least had some hope. I just can't believe how many people actually loved this book. I expect things to be "thrilling" in a thriller. No major thrills or suspense. I think my main issue was just not enjoying the way this author wrote.
