The structure from the start is nice, I like the diary entry the reader gets, seeing Alicia’s sparse thoughts weeks before she kills her husband. Then we jump into Theo’s perspective, an outsider, a psychotherapist, who wants to get inside Alicia’s head to figure out why she committed the murder? Or did she? Wonderful beginning by Alex Michaelides, definitely worth buying!
