This excerpt held my interest for several reasons. There's the whole mystery of Alicia and why she killed her husband and has had a complete break from reality. But I also found the psychotherapist and his backstory interesting as well. He was giving me a creepy stalker type vibe and so I'm curious to see if that is the direction the author will go in. Overall, a nice start to what I hope is a good thriller.
