First of all the story is super creepy and was right up my alley. Paul lives through a traumatic experience when he was a kid and moved away thinking it would never be brought up again. Once coming back to Gritten, everything once again starts unraveling. When this book started I thought I knew it all but the twists and turns kept coming where until it was made blatantly obvious I was not expecting what happened. I would never want to be put in Paul’s situation as every decision he made led to unforeseen consequences. Anyone who enjoys and horror/thriller will not be able to put this book down. Alex North has for sure become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to his future works.
