A vicious murder of one of Paul’s close friends was enough to drive him out of town promising to never return, along with the fact that one of the murderers was never seen again.
25 years passed and Paul has to return to his hometown to visit his declining mother. While there crazy and mysterious things start happening to Paul. In a dual point of view, a detective has been assigned a case with very similar characteristics of the murder from Paul’s past. Copycat or has the murderer returned?!
I loved the different points of view. It was interesting to hear the story from Paul in two different time frames, the past & the future. As well as hearing the story from a complete outsider who is a detective, trained to look at things in a different way than most.
It was definitely creepy. I was shocked by the ending but i did find it a happening all at once. I had to reread the ending just to make sure I didn’t miss anything. This is one you definitely need in your TBR list!
