So I may be the unpopular opinion on this one, but I was not a fan. This book in my opinion was lacking a lot in the sense of suspense, and over all “thrills”. Nothing about this book was creepy, i just felt it was weird and some what confusing. It had a Iception-esque (the movie) feel to it with all the lucid dream talk. There were a lot of characters, and some weren’t talked about a lot, and then all of a sudden popped up later on, so u had to really think or read back... or keep notes. Nothing really kept me too interested except the one real question of the entire book (don’t want to give spoilers), otherwise I was bored. The ending wasn’t terrible, but eh.... The Whisper Man was definitely better.
