I really really wanted to like this book. I wasn't a super big fan of the author's other book, but this one sounded a lot more up my alley than that one had, so I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, I just found this one kind of boring. The whole dream element wasn't really working for me and I didn't connect with any of the characters. Since characters are really important to my reading experience, I think that this is what was the nail in the coffin for me with this book. However, it was competently written, and I can totally see why people love Alex North's books so much. They'd probably be good for people that are newer to the thriller/mystery genre. I just found this too predictable and there wasn't enough for me to hold onto to make up for that fact.
That cover is awesome, though! I'm loving this more illustrated look, and it's cool that his books are black and white.
