This book really wasn't for me. I was listening to the audio book and was just confused so much that I dnf. I'm usually not the kind of person who reads thrillers but this book also seemed to go very slowly. I wasn't really as spooked as I thought the book was going to be based on the cover. The cover for this book however was amazing perfect for a spooky book. Maybe the book does get spooky later on. I really didn't understand who their characters were when we were introduced to them. I think mainly it was the prologue that set the stage of confused for me. When it just jumped right into the next chapter with something totally different going on I didn't know how to really wrap my head around it all. From what I remember the woman is a cop I believe and then there's a little boy who killed his friend or something like that. Honestly I really shouldn't have tried to read it. Thrillers always confuse me.
