Alex North does it again. I went into this one blind - didn't really even know what it was about. and within minutes of starting this book, the same dread that I felt with Whisper Man crept into my head. You are almost immediately jumping forward with the most disturbing conclusions you didn't even know you could dream up. This book kept me riveted from the start, and while I wouldn't describe it as fast pace, we effortlessly bounce between viewpoints and time periods which leave you wanting to turn the pages faster and faster to find out what happened in the past and what will happen next! Creepy and disturbing, another trouble child leaves destruction in his wake, and a past that just won't die. A must-read!
