I’ve been waiting since The Whisper Man for another novel like this and I’m so grateful to be one of the first to read this!
Not only was this deliciously creepy, but had a twist and family connection I totally didn't see coming. The chapters were long in this one and a very slow burn (it's worth it I promise you) I recommend it for sure and think you'll end up enjoying this one the best out of North's two books.
Besides both covers being absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed The Shadows. It was another creepy read for me and was instantly creeped out after reading about the “Red Hands”. The eerieness to it never got old and I actually felt myself getting goosebumps, just like I did while reading The Whisper Man. It’s like a myth you learned about as a child, and you pray it’s not true...This is definitely one to look forward to, so make sure to check this one out!
