This is the type of heart pounding interest I have been looking for!!! Some cult ritual (if that is what occurred) ended with a boy being sacrificed...is now resurfacing after 25 years when Paul returns home to visit his mom in a hospice. And what is "the nightmare people" book about and how did it come into his mother's possession?!?!?!? Is it referring to the title, as in the shadows, or is their a more sinister presence afoot?? Cannot wait to read this!!!
