I recently read The Whisper Man and enjoyed it, so I was excited to see this book by the same author. I love the eerie quality that the author’s writing has. The story itself unfolds with suspense, but the writing style adds that little bit of ‘extra’ to it that keeps you turning pages with goosebumps rippling across your arms. Based on the first look, I think I’d really enjoy this book. It seems to have a great mix of detective/crime scene investigation, mystery, intrigue, and maybe even a hint towards the supernatural. I’d love to continue reading.
