This seemed like kind of a slow start, but enough was happening to draw me in. I couldn’t stop reading, wanting to know more about the mystery. This feels like Stephen King’s IT. There was so much detail that I could see and feel what was happening. It’s an interesting touch to have Paul’s perspective written in first person, but to switch to other people’s perspectives written in third person.
