So far I found both of the characters to be intriguing and am eager to see how the events from years ago tie into the present storyline. The only thing that has me concerned is if this is going to be more fitting in the horror genre rather than thriller. The mother's words at the end made me feel like the creepy factor will be intense in this one. Looking forward to reading the novel as I enjoyed the author's previous book.
