The Shadows is instantly compelling. The stage for an enthralling story is instantly set and the firstlook already has me hooked. I can't wait to read the rest. I previously read a firstlook for The Whisper Man and remember feeling the same way. I think Alex North is one of those authors that when you see their name, you just know it's going to be a great book!
