From the spookiness of the cover, I was so drawn to The Shadows! I loved the imagery and immediacy of the first page of the Prologue. Upon reading I got a lot of Broadchurch vibes which I love and the early character development just laid out in the beginning. I'm really hoping for palm sweating, suspenseful moments that may even give a nightmare or two.
