First things first: this cover creeps me out. I don't know why, but it gives me chills that set the tone for me. And then the prologue opens up. All the foreboding begins to pile up.
The narrative provides tension while reading, which got me into the mood for a thriller read. From what I've seen of the characters, they appear to be fully fledged and I look forward to continuing with this one.
