This book will leave you full of emotions!
Even though this is a YA novel, it really deals with true life issues and circumstances. Global warming, divorce, sexuality, disability, mental illness, suicide and death. There are some tough parts but it's worth the read. The narration is told by Harlow, Ellis and Tommy. Harlow and Ellis are best friends and Ellis and Tommy are identical twins. Harlow is trying her best to save her town from being destroyed and swept into the sea. Ellis is trying to navigate his life and becoming the best runner he can despite having a prosthetic leg and trying to have any relationship become meaningful. Tommy struggles with depression and dealing with his faithful dog Goose, and her cancer. I really adore these three and all they go through. There are plenty of secrets, lies and heartwarming moments between the three. They are just teens navigating all parts of their lives.
