In the brief introduction we get to Harlow, Ellis, and Tommy, they seem interesting but rather shallow. The prose is beautiful, and the writing immediately sweeps you into a wild storm along the coast. But the dialogue is jerky and doesn't help you get to know the trio any better. Obviously I'd have to read the whole book to make a better decision about it, but so far it doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
