I kinda knew from the description that I wouldn't enjoy it, the characters aren't very likable, I'm sure they get better but something about them kind of puts me off. I'm not one for relationship-oriented novels, and the first impression is a bit slow. I do like the environmental aspect of it, however, and the writing is really good.
