Okay, so as soon as I saw the warning about suicide, I had to stop and think about whether this is something I really want to read. Based on the writing--yes. It's already well written.
I also think that depression is something that should be represented in young adult literature as long as it is represented well. I teach students, and many of them struggle with depression themselves--especially after COVID. That said, I hope this is one of the book that handles the subject well and remembers its target audience. I would argue that many book that take on this subject actually end up glorifying the suicidal act in a dangerous way.
