The atmosphere in this novel is absolutely spectacular. I was immediately drawn into the town and the damp; it absolutely sets the scene for the story. I love the mythos of the old house and am excited to see how it will play into the stories of the main characters. The first several chapters do a good job of building up the characters and I am very interested to see how this story develops. I think this has the potential to be incredibly impactful.
